Hi! I’m Emily Hessney Lynch.
I’m the Owner & Founder of Serve Me the Sky Digital, a New York State certified woman-owned business. As a digital strategist and writer with 13+ years of experience, I love using social media to craft a compelling story, told in an authentic voice that’s true to your brand.
I offer consultations, social media strategies and audits, content writing, and workshops. Anything with words and the internet is kind of my jam. I’m especially interested in TikTok strategy and monitoring the evolution of the social media landscape.
I particularly enjoy working with higher education institutions and nonprofits. I love helping people craft a strategic approach for sharing their stories with the world. I believe that social media marketing efforts should always be purposeful. I’m also passionate about sharing my knowledge with others through both my blog. I’m an adjunct professor at Nazareth University, where I teach courses on social media, crisis communication, and writing for digital media.
One of my favorite things is connecting with others and having honest conversations about difficult topics we don’t always share about openly, so I started my own podcast called It’s a Lot. We dive deep on social media, parenthood, and other things that are a lot. I interview content creators, parents, social media experts, therapists, authors, and more. The goal is always to share the highs and lows of our journeys, making space for conflicting, messy feelings and keeping it real about what we’re going through.
I hold a Bachelor’s in English & History and a Master’s in Educational Administration from the University of Rochester. I’m Hubspot certified in Social Media Strategy, Content Marketing, and Inbound Marketing. I also have a Certificate in Women’s Entrepreneurship from eCornell.
In my spare time, you’ll find me reading (check out my book recommendations), running a book club, and hanging out with my husband (he’s a talented muralist & designer, if you need one), our baby, and our three rescue dogs.
Thanks for visiting!
